Fraudsters are always "offended" when caught. Good move on your part.
Looks just like a DIY Fender that is in my "soon to be, but not yet" project roster.
Even if I did it up to look EXACTLY like a P-bass from "X" era (1970's, 80's, etc.) and decided later to sell, I wouldn't for a moment even think about advertising it as a "Fender Precision Bass".
Smells like Fish, tastes like Chicken to me...
