Hey there everybody!

Hi folks...I'm Beowulf Kingsley, AKA Todd Perkins (the Beowulf thing is a long story), and I've been playing bass for about 36 years. Or as I often say I've been fooling people into thinking I can play for that long! I've played with BluesRocker Michael Katon for the last 6 years, and with Jump Blues band Big Dave and the Ultrasonics for 5 years before that, along with lots of other Rock, Swing and other units over the years. I also do a lot of writing music and play a few other insturments, and in the last few years have been getting into studio production and engineering. It's all fun.

As to instruments, I'm playing a Kawai FB2 a lot these days (a very Alembiclike thrubody from the 80s), and my handmade Fender Jazz style fretless when the gig permits. My beautiful old Fender Jazz now lives in the studio. I also have a handmade Precision style bass made by Dave Budzinski (www.budzguitars.com), a wierd Rick clone from the 70s and a fun little Jay Turser Beatle Bass that I use occationaly, especially when my back's out! I have an old German upright that I love, and I use GK amps all the time (sound great and again, pretty lightweight).

Talk more with you all soon!
