Hello all,
I'm new to the bass (I've never really played any instrument successfully before), but I got a bass starter pkg 10 months ago, and I love it. I've been bitten by the bass bug, and I've upgraded to a Dean Edge/SWR combo - not state of the art, but it's great so far. I have no aspirations to do anything with it except jam to music and play along with some friends who play a variety of instruments.
I'm always looking for a better sounds/techniques/hints/tips, etc., so if you have input, I'll listen.
I've been trying to learn using the DVD lesson method. It's a slow process, but I have no previous musical talents, so what progress I've made, I'm proud of.
I gotta learn to play this thing before I die.
