High end Squier on CL

No pics yet, but, startin' from a regular Olympic White Classic Vibe Jazz bass, I put US Bartolini ultralow/mid neck single and Seymour Duncan HotStack bridge single, now awaiting Hipshot BT7 bass extender to be shipped and got applied on it

So: high end (basswod bodied) Squier then? Ah, ah, ah: funny

A very good friend of mine (and much better bass player than me, to be completely honest) already asked me for it... sight unseen...

Yeah... it's gonna be high end Squier!

Cheers,
Wallace

Yeah. High-end Squier are pretty much the Classic Vibe series (Vintage Modified I don't count so much). Even the prices on the CV basses bumped up from 349.99 to 379.99 within the past year or so. Fender must know they have something good on their hands by now.

I really like Squier because i'm too poor to afford a Fender. +1 on the Vintage Mod or Classic Vibe. I really want a '51 P-bass and going Squier is the way i'm gonna get one. I don't poo poo anything Squier because of a friend's experience (12 y/o Musicmaster went thru hell and still strong) but I would put my money on the VM or CV for sure.
