Whos got 2 thumbs and finnaly got strings for his 38 inch scale bass???? THIS GUY. My strings from Knuckle Quake basses Finnaly came in and they work great the growl this thing has is spectacular. Im planning on playing it for my marching band show tonite its gonna be interesting. Im trying to find out if i can get a video up soon.

wow, that is some phenominal work! I've been thinking of making my own bass for a while, but nothing on this scale. Wish I'd come across this thread earlier on.

I just can't get used to bass guitars in marching bands...

In my day, this just started happening, because noone wants to play tuba anymore

This is something I would love to do because I just cant seem to find a shape to fit my unique personality
I mean I play a Dean Custom Zone bass, which is all lime green

I'm still holding down the tuba section! Don't you worry. I save the bass playin' for jazz band.
