hiwatt or behringer or peavey?

Hi People!
I'd like to buy a cab for my Sound city 120! Was thinking on Hiwatt-maxwatt b410 or on Behringer bb410 or maybe on the Tour 210 from Peavey. The last one is more expensive and has just 2 speakers. For the start I'm looking for something cheap and good if it's possible.Do you have any suggestions?
thanx!!

I run a Hiwatt/Behringer rig and its totally rad. Ok, ha ha got that out of the way.

Peavey makes some great gear. I'd choose that over Behringer every day. If you have access to Hiwatt at Peavey prices, get the Hiwatt. I don't think you do.

Behringer is absolute LOW end gear. Hiwatt is totally HIGH end gear. Peavey is in the middle, but closer to Behringer than Hiwatt!
Actually, they are about in the same league, with Peavey being the pricier option. The OP did ask about a Hiwatt Maxwatt amp after all, and Maxwatts seem to be generic OEM transistor amps and equally generic cabs, made somewhere in Asia, with a Hiwatt badge on them - not to be confused with the higher end, valve equipped amps and expensive cabs from the Custom Shop line.

Here's a link to the Maxwatt line: http://www.hiwatt.co.uk/products.aspx?cid=6

Oh, and from my experience with another brand of amps with identical specs to the Maxwatts - hence probably the same amp, with a different brand name on it - I'd steer clear from those (though the cab might be better that the amp head). Peavey is, in this case, probably the best option, from a quality standpoint.

The Sound City 120 is a nice old tube amp, right? It deserves a good cab. Depending on what style of music you are playing, a sealed cab might be the way to go. A used Ampeg 410HE goes for about $350 average. I'm curious about the Acoustic 8x10 too, it's not much money for a lot of speakers. You could also go with a 1x15 cab like the Acoustic for cheap and have a pretty cool smaller rig.

I did confuse them. Didn't know Hiwatt had a lower end selection. My bad. :(
