HNCD: Darkglass 212N

I updated my Warwick WCA410 cab with a Darkglass 212 lightweight cab.
40 kilo's was to much for me and I'm a big fan of Darkglass.
I saw the Nammvideo's of the new lightweight series and the 2X12 was my favorite!
I bought it at bassbuddha in Denmark and got it in like 3 days at my home in Belgium.
It sounded so full and heavy! a real update compared with my warwick cab! and only 19,7kilo's! Best cab EVER!
Still using it with my Warwick LWA1000 because it's a beautiful clean and powerful head. I use it till it's broke so I'm not updating that soon (I hope). Still in love with that head.
So for me this is the best rig I can wish for.

Congrats! I've been waiting on some more demos or reviews on this Darkglass 212 before I go nuts and just get one. I'll be deciding between that one and the Aguilar SL212, cause I know and own Aguilar and they never disappoint. But this Darkglass is a bit lighter, cheaper and might be a good option.

@Aragrim, have you played the Aguilar SL212? If so, how does it compare to the Darkglass?

Not OP but recently purchased this cab for my mesa d800+. Like most have said it's definitely mid forward but I do not have any issues dialing any lows on my mesa. Recently came from a fender rumble which I found a bit too muddy. Ages ago I've also played out of an 810e with a GK amp.

This cab was priced a tiny bit lower within other competitorso. My radar (mesa and Aguilar 212 is about a few hundred more I believe) also rated at 1000W vs 800. I also returned a GK neo IV 212 for it. To summarize, Greta quality and sound. The wood is a bit softer so may dent easier fyi. Just take care of it.

Thanks for the post. Pulling the trigger once my 810 sells.

Played one locally through a 800D, and I thought the cab sounded pretty awesome.

Want a Berg or GR 212, but the extra 400-600 bucks doesn't bode well with me.

I'll put that extra loot towards a new Forte'D Bergintino amp.

I love my DG410.
I was going to go the 2xDG112N route, but I don't like the 'loud sound from small box' thing and to my ears I always prefer one cabinet vs. 2x half of whatever it is.

I was dead set on getting the 212+210 but, at like 48lbs and 1000W, the 410 is hard to pass up. The 212 sounds great though and when I practice that's the IR/cab sim I use most, as well as the 412 Elite, which where are those bad boys... 0>0

Congrats!! They really pair well with every amp combo too.
