HONDO???

Does anyone else have a Hondo 2 double cutaway with dual p's ? Seems I'm the only one online.

Is this the one you are talking about? I bought this one a few months ago - at a yard sale - and replaced the neck pickup with a newer DiMarzio, a new switch, 2 new knobs, and some metal bridge saddles. I kept the black pickup cover and switch theme to modernize it a bit. It sounds really good and is easy to play with the 32" scale.

From the research that I did there were a couple of eras for Hondo. Some were built in Japan and were well built and later ones were built in Korea and weren't as good.

I'm not sure where you got the idea that the 830 was before the Fame series. Because I have an 830 Fame.

Yup. I have an 830 deluxe series with the original di,arzios and it's the best $80 bass on the planet. Lol
