How about 1 x 15 on top, 2 x 10 on bottom?

I use an old Genz Benz 115, and XB210 on bottom because the 210 is stouter looking and a little wider.

Power handling matches up evenly in most cases unlike a 4x10 and 1x15.

Back when I actually gigged I remember using that setup. And like all setups I used, it depends on the room. Playing in a different venue every weekend I may as well could have been using a different cab configuration too. Some venues it will sound good others not. It worked better for me than the 410+15 b/c I could still hear the 15.

As an aside this is why I don't worry about the whole beaming thing. If my rig was in the same spot at the same venue week in week out I would.

Just make sure you have the flux capacitor hooked up the the thimbabahoochiething and that it's in phase you should be good to go..

I have my doubts as I believe from a universe size view, this is done very commonly in the Southern Hemisphere and no problems so far.

If nothing else, it elevates the speaker that is more prone to beaming, which might benefit you, depending on how close you are to the setup. It might effect floor coupling, but probably not by much if both cabs are full-range anyway.

Used to do it with Eden 210xlt and 115xlt. One of the best live tones I've ever heard.

A friend of mine uses a 210XLT and a 115XLT, powered by a WT550B. I have played through his rig more than a few times, and it sounds freakin' great.

But, apparently it isn't supposed to.

You can't mix speaker sizes unless your 210 and 115 happen to sound good together....I heard tings...lil bit, etc...

I have a cab setup like that. The 2x10 sits on top and speakers are verticle. Sounds great with the tube head I have.
