Double Bass How can a bridge be so perfect?

The first half makes perfect sense to me but what's full moon fever?

During a full moon, the moon is said to exact a greater gravitational pull upon the Earth and those of us who are walking around on it.

According to theory, this greater gravitational pull draws a larger proportion of the water in our bodies upward into our cranial cavities.

Some people respond to this increased intracranial pressure by displaying unusual irritability and a penchant for arson and/or homicide.

DISCLAIMER -- I'm not a physicist or a neuroscientist (that's my mother), just a guy who gets cranky during full moons. YMMV.

Luthiers don't deal with this kind of bridge they might install it but a REAL opinion can hardly come from them simply because this bridge is money out of their pocket, they don't have to work on it!

I never thought it possible that you could pull more nonsense outta' yerownself since the last post that I saw of yours some time ago in another jive thread you came up with. Congrats.....you did it.

Ah, very interesting. I guess my imbalance is at least somewhat corrected by the electrolytic influx during the full moon, as that seems to be my most balanced, serene, and logical time.

DISCLAIMER - I am not a mental health professional (although I should probably have received my honorary by now)

Unfortunately I have to argue with people laughing with ZERO experience regarding Aubert Mirecourt, merely living inside their own narrow minded assumption! Yes the earth IS flat!

Listen... if you want to change the tilt of the bridge, meaning how the bridge leans vertically one way or another, you will have to modify either the front or the back of the feet.

I don't doubt that you are picky about your set up, but it comes across like you don't know much about the subject. And what Dallas said, one day you will need one of those rip off artist luthiers. Peace upon you.

yup, it's where "looney" or "lunatic" derive their definition from.

:bawl: Let me play the violin for you! :bawl: I honestly think most of your well respected colleagues probably read through the tread and realised what I have to spell out to all of the thread flies including you! This thread is not to belittle luthier bridges but to bring an alternative if in trouble because of location! This bridge by no means the king of all bridges but it is functional as a substitute any day! Functional!!! Kapish?? I could't care if the tread leaches abuse me, even heard a rattling bag of bones going personal by saying that I wouldn't know what a good bridge look like and so on! What I said about me not being interested about a luthier opinion was only objective! It works, its functional that is what matters! I deeply respect my luthier friends in Europe and Australia and I have strong friendship with one of the most respected luthier in Melbourne. Going personal by calling my woodworking knowledge feeble is only indicative of what you really wanted to say! Ditto! Say what you want my opinion is strong about this bridge and how it can be a life saver! In the meantime have a laugh I know that only 20% really knows whats going on the rest is just a followers. I am replaying only to you because you couldnt be further from the truth if you think that I meant disrespect by saying that this bridge is of no interest to you guys as it brings no bread to the table! So KungfuSherif is right and the cranial pressure must be affected most here, specially me for getting baited! :) Paul can call me an idiot I still like the old devil!

Someone said I cant teach old dogs new tricks and I dont want to, God knows! Merely conveying my experience.

You know, I was half-tempted to offer my opinion on these bridges but now it's just not worth it.

It's nothing personal at all timobee. You've made your opinion of luthiers clear. As far as your friend in Melbourne, is he/she a cabinetmaker? If said person only saw the inflammatory remarks about luthiers in general that you ramble on this site, they would think twice about doing business with you.

I've already received a number of PM's from people interested in what I have to say about these bridges you covet. I have strong cautions about using them. Know this, as long as you're in here giving misguided advice, I'll be right behind you to clean up your mess. Again, nothing personal, I choose not to waste my time debating with you.

Hahaha! Nothing personal?!? Denial. Hilarious!
But I still cant see how you formed such idiotic opinion when all I said was in short that the bridge is of not much interest to luthiers!

"As far my friend, is he/she a cabinetmaker? "
You disrespectful sob, yes My Friend is a listed cabinet maker and occasionally builds coffins too! Like this one (see attached pictures, doubt you recognise any of this!!! And before confusion sets in your head it's a before and after picture!)
