How did you come up with a name for your Pet

When our Adult son came upon hard times which called for a change in accomadation, (relationship break up) he dropped his 6 month old Dog here for a while, (until he is settled) anyway after a month of calling it "Dog" and seeing as our son has now moved quite a distance away and is sharing, it appears we now have a new Dog.

So we decides to give him a name we could live with (rather than "Dog") and as we decided a re-run of "Frasier" was on the idiot box and the dog on it is called "Eddie"

Ok, so our sons Dog is a Staffy and is white with brown ears , basiclly a bigger version of Eddie.

So as we were talking TV, we came ot Eddie Munster ( the Munsters Kid) and the other similar show was the Addams Family and their Kid was "Pugsley"

hence , the dogs new Name Pugsley, suits him.

He's cool!! His coloring is very similar to my American Bulldog!!

All 4 of our dogs were named but have since developed nicknames that they now go by exclusively. They're lazy good for nuthin's :rollno:

lately since having kids pets have been having cartoon names ...

1 cat = Moufassa.
latest cat = Nala.
Boxer dog = Scooby.
Yellow Lab = Butter.

we only have Nala in the house now. sold Butter, gave Scooby away since we couldn't take care of him with just me and my daughter .. Moufassa ex wife made us give away cuz she didn't like him. ugh.

I've got a question for you guys. My parents are about to get a new cat and my father wants to name it Gibson. He's pretty stuck on that name, but I'm protesting because he once had a cat named Gibson who was killed by a car. I think it's kind of morbid to name the new cat Gibson, but he really likes the name.

What do you guys think?

My brother wanted a malamute for a long time now. He saw the movie Snow Dogs, and at the end of the movie, a slew of puppies come stumbling through a doggy door. The very first pup was named Avalanche, and he said immediately, "Whenever I get a Mal, he'll be named Avalanche. No second thoughts about it."

So when he got cancer, my family told him we'd get him a malamute if he beats it. Well.... here's Avalanche!
