Well, none of them look remotely like each other, and none are classic brands or shapes. But three out of four have four strings and are fretless. Those three are all different scale lengths and one is an EUB. The fourth one is a one-off prototype 5-string singlecut with a DIY preamp.

So you tell me, I guess...

First comment ever on TB, although I've been reading U all for a while.
This is my (incomplete) collection. I wanted an active 6 strings & a back-up (as I compose chords & grooves with a looper in view of performing my own solo stuff one day). The Cort C6 Plus ZBMH (purchased on sale) is a bolt-on, 9V,
& the Harley Benton is a neck-thru, 18V. They both have their default factory strings but I'd love to change sometime soon. One of them would have flats. And both have a passive mode. Funnily enough, they sound very different!

Then there's the TMB30, passive P/J, for travelling, with black nylon flats. I also have a Vintage Fretless Jazz Bass (not on picture, but in avatar picture) with flats.

As U might have guessed from the list of basses I own, I have a very limited budget so right now I can only afford to GAS over a Sire V3.

I'd say mine are quite diverse in:
  • string numbers: 5, 6, and 7 (no need for a 4 cause it's included within all of these);
  • scales: 30, 34, 35, 33.6-35.5 inches;
  • pickups: dual coil/humbucker/soap bars, single coils/jazz, and piezo (used to have P/split coil & PJ but have long gone);
  • frets: fretted, fretless, and fretted-fretless hybrid;
  • bodies: solid, semi-hollow, and acoustic;
  • body colors: not so diverse cause mostly natural/brownish, with black and red (used to have white & blue also but no longer);
  • body finishes: used to be all gloss, but now mostly flat/matte;
  • hardware colors: mostly cosmo black, gold, and black (used to have chrome and satin silver but all sold);
  • string materials: stainless steels, nickel plated steels, black nylon, and phosphor bronze;
  • string wounds: rounds, coated rounds, flats, tapes, roller/compressed;
  • string spacings: 10.8, 15.5, 16, 16.5, 19 mm;
  • tunings: EADGBE, BEADGCF, ADG+EADG, BEADGC, and BEADG (used to have F#BEADG but didn't bond with it).

Not incredibly diverse, but there's a decent bit of variation.

All fretted and 4-string:
- Warwick Streamer LX (P/J)
Cherrywood body with Wenge board

- Fender "Player" Jazz (J/J)
Alder body with Maple board

- Squier CV 70's P (P)
Basswood body with Maple board

- SBMM Ray34 (MM)
Mahogany body with Rosewood board

- Warwick RB Corevette (J/J)
Alder body with Wenge board (I think... Replaced the neck a while back after snapping the truss rod :banghead: )

I'm actually pretty content with my group, but I'm planning on trading out my Streamer for something a little different in the next few months.
