How diverse is your bass collection?

Kind of diverse I guess? I still would like a Jazz in there somewhere. Maybe one 5 string, but I would probably never play it.

- Lakland DJ5 fretted (on the way, just bought from Dr. C.)

Some local bands / musos tune to A440, some tune to A flat... this way I have a fretted and fretless already tuned for each. It is a hassle tuning up and down, when the neck relief goes so far out of whack.

Not the most diverse, but diverse enough for me:

- Regular scale with one split-coil pickup (P)
- Regular scale with two single coil pickups (J)

- Short scale with one split coil pickup (Mustang)
- Short scale with two humbucker pickups (SG bass, with neck humbucker pickup currently en route)

- Acoustic bass
- Fretless acoustic bass

Basically, the electrics are all passive 4 stringers, but hey, I got different scale lengths, different pickup types, plus acousticness and fretlessness in there. Beyond that, I could see getting a short scale fretless electric bass, maybe a baritone guitar, possibly a uke bass. I used to want a 5 string, but that G.A.S. eventually passed, and I actively don’t want an active bass.

Always kinda wanted a Sousaphone, though...

But anyway, a couple of different 4 string electrics and acoustics really covers my various needs

Not very. At one point in the past, it was highly diverse, but as I continue to consolidate the herd, it's becoming more homogenous.
