I've got an SWR RedHead with the Big Bertha Bottom and I've got an EBS TD650 with an Ampeg 4x10 cab. Depending on the mood determines which amp I use. Using a G&L 2500 Bass, Music Man Stingray, and a Fender Jazz fretless. What I hear usually is a pretty nice tone, but some of my notes are lost. Using a GT10B pedal on a clean setting. I've backed off the frequencies at the 200hz range and increased the highs while leaving the Lows alone on the amps (Whatever one I am using). I typically try to get the best sound out of the guitar first then dress it up with the amp. PA I am running through is a Presonus mainboard with QSC KW enclosures. Anyone have any ideas how I can get notes to cut through better? Thanks in advance.

Since you're backing off low mids, that is a good start, and you might also want to drastically cut ultra lows, like 30hz and below, since these frequencies mostly just make your amp work harder and your cab sound flabby. I've found that if 300hz goes down and 5-600hz goes up, just a little, I get very cutting, clear and present mids, and can then adjust the higher frequencies to suit my tone. Also, putting emphasis on 120hz rather than 60hz in the bass area can give you headroom and more clear, punchy lows, but you might end up missing the really deep sound.
This is based on my experience with my own gear, and should be taken as such. Also, different bands eq differently. In some bands, boostng 600hz is a complete no-go since I'll clash with the guitars, in others I have to cut even more in the 200-300 area or the whole band will sound like a wall of mud.

Have you tried just plugging straight into the amp and not using the GT-10B? It's seems counter intuitive if you're just using it for a clean tone anyways.
