how do i get these off?

Hey guys i recently took my tuners out of my neck, and there were these metal rings inside the holes:

And they didnt come out, the way i was trying anyways. If you guys have any way, or know how i would appreciate it. THanks

stick a flat head through the back and push/ tap it with a hammer.

and then if i wanted to put them in another neck i would just tap them back in?

Yup, but if to tight and to much hammering you can split the headstock.

Even easier than the screwdriver is using a socket that is smaller than the hole in the headstock, but larger than the diameter of the metal rings from the tuners, you are less likely to end up with the metal ring coming out of the headstock crooked. Also, lay a little block of flat wood over the top of the ring when you knock it back in, that way you wont scuff up the metal.
