How do I get this effect ( line 6 dl4 mk2 )

So I have a line 6 dl4 mk2 and I can't quite crack the sound from this song by primus
Another example: at 47:49

I know he uses this pedal now but he didn't when the record came out because the pedal wasn't out but he can still almost recreate it in new examples.
Can anyone show me how to set my dl4 mk2 to sound like this song intro?
