It’s unwise to rule out the ever-present possibility that the OP’s head is just haunted. While some internet experts suggest that the cause is always inadequate bracing, that’s not often the case. It can also be due to sympathetic vibrations between the two objects coupled not mechanically but through the acoustic energy causing the movement.
A cargo strap would be overkill (and was probably intended as a joke).
I has some really bad Ampegs that rattled and shook. Aguilars have been very solid for me.Slight derail — and by no means intended to offend anyone or any brand, just genuine curiosity.
I hate it when cab vibrations make my amp fall off. After years of searching (and getting rid of cabs because they even made my tube amps fall off), I finally came across a cabinet that didn’t budge — no matter what.
Isn’t cab vibration something that should be considered when designing a cab?
Bet it sounds terrific.......Hello all!
I recently picked up a Mesa D800+ w/ a Subway 410 cab. If you know, then you know, this amp head is ridiculously light and the cab is ridiculously thunderous. At my first practice w/ it, our drummer quickly pointed out that the head was vibrating off the cab.
I'm curious to know what creative solutions ya'll have for this dilemma?
(the head isn't rack mountable, without some aftermarket nonsense)

Come-on rookie - everyone knows only heads with tubes can be haunted. How you gonna fit a ghost inside a transistor? It’s unwise to rule out the ever-present possibility that the OP’s head is just haunted.
The tubes in the WD and TT are well enough isolated that vibration isn’t an issue.
