How do I run bass signal to two amps?

I want to split the signal from my StingRay 5 to a Fender Rumble 100/15 and a Peavey TKO 80 so I can take advantage of the 15" for the rumbling lows and the 12" for the tighter mids and highs. What kind of "splitter" do I need to do that?

I do it with a Visual Volume pedal....but I only use one amp at a time.

My Digitech BNX3 does it for me, but I assume any standard ABY switch will do. Someone will know.

My MXR M80 has a parallel out, so that's what I use when I do this. Effect out to one cab, parallel out to the other, turn off distortion/etc if I need to.

Any pedal with 2 "outs" will work, but try a true stereo effect, like a chorus or delay. The ping pong, and/or swooshiness is awesome bouncing between two amps.

If you want to run both amps simultaneously, you will need something fancier than an AB box. You may get a nasty ground loop hum, and you'd have to isolate the two outputs. This requires an active box, not just a switch.

Have you considered selling both of those amps and buying something that gets the tone you want?

By the way you are talking (lows from peavey, mids and highs from the other), you'd probably do well with a crossover.

My ABY box has never done me wrong. I know that you can run two heads off of the higher end SKB pedal boards as well as the Fuhrman pedal boards.

is it possible to run a line from the line out of amp "A" to the input of amp"B"?
and adjust each eq as needed?

Say I wanted to run a 2x12 tube combo as a distortion box along with a dry bass rig. Would an ABY switch work or would I get some nasty hum? What about a sansamp driver?

Thank you for the suggestions! I like the one about selling both and getting a better rig, but the wife nixed that one!!! Oh, well, I'll get that Ampeg and 8x10 one of these days!!! I had a Digitech BP80, but never used it and gave it to my nephew for his garage band. I could have split the signal with that, but when I asked him about it, he said he loaned it to some guy who loaned it to some guy......blah, blah, blah......I'll never see it again. Maybe I'll pick up a Boss Chorus and run it like that. Pretty cool. Thanks everyone! You're the best!

I tired it and it worked. Knowing Boss, the outputs are probably both buffered.

However, if you engage the tuner, the bypass output will still be live. So you can't tune silently.

that's just what i was going to recommend. several Boss pedals have two outs. that's how i did it with guitar. should work the same for bass (i think, but i'd listen to the experts)

Okay so I just used my tu-2 to run into two amps. turned the bass off on my tube guitar amp and ran it as a distortion channel and it sounds so badass w/ dry bass signal. I'm going to upload the video to youtube.
