How do you get banned from TalkBass?

Be a jerk? I don't know. I've only had a single infraction, for cursing years ago. TB is pretty easygoing.

If you threaten other members, insult other members, schill products under the guise of being "informative", or waste bandwidth with unanswerable questions, you'll usually get banned. But not always..........

I think the weirdest banning I ever saw was someone who faked committing suicide, then tried to come back at some point after a consolation thread had gained a huge number of posts (it was stickies too, IIRC).
