How do you humidify your bass?

Another do nothing here. Jaco's URB famously fell apart in the Florida weather. I would have thought acoustic (hollow bodied instruments really) are more prone than solid body basses. I wouldn't dream of taking instruments into a showerroom/bathroom.

If its too dry the neck will shrink and you will feel the edges of your frets cutting at your fingers. Some folks mistakenly have their frets filed then.

They may not be hollow but they respond to temperature and humidity changes.

I oil my frettboards on my rosewood/ebony necks and sweat all over my instruments, so its covered. Its actually pretty gross though cause the sweat dries and leaves white dots, but i periodicity clean em off.

I live in Bangkok. Everything is always humidified.
