You're know you're old when you get winded covering the fat kid on the basketball court.

You know when you're old when

- It takes far less alcohol to give you far worse hangovers

- you make groan and "agh" sounds when lifting stuff or putting stuff down

- "project/essay due dates" get replaced by "loan/mortgage due dates"

- you find yoursself using phrases your parents used that sounded so parent-y when you were younger, especially when listening to music - it must be something to do with refinement of taste in music as you get older, as no matter how open minded you are to all kinds of music, chart music still sounds like its getting progressively worse

Giving lessons:

- You find yourself saying "I remember I was about your age"

- plus saying "I remember playing a gig back in 1988" (seemes like yesterday five years before the guy you're teaching was born)

I realized i was old quite recently when my 16 year old daughter had a sleepover and 5 underwear clad 16 year olds walked past me (some in thongs) at two in the morning and didn't care that i was seeing them in their underwear and all i got was oh hey "Mr._______" in other words i was no longer viewed as a male......just someones dad...

Also at work i walked past a 19 year old girl who wanted to know who that was on my T-Shirt

I swear i did a full on Red Foxx at that point......(Showing my age once again...lol)
