I know!! I'm drooling! I want a T40 now and I've got to find out how Alvaro set his up.
The average weight of a newborn baby is 7-½ pounds.Women carry 25+ lbs of baby in front of them for five or six months of their pregnancies. You can't hoist 13lbs of bass for two or three hours?![]()
Giving birth to a T40 could be painful. The average weight of a newborn baby is 7-½ pounds.
There has never been a baby in recorded history that weighed 25+ pounds.

WOW!! I figured you had the T40 running through a tube amp into a 115 cab! That's spectacular! That's the classic tone I've been seeking - the tone I love in all my favorite classic rock bass lines! I'm definitely getting myself a T40 now! I wonder how it would sound with Sadowsky flats - they're my string of choice now.Alvaro Martín Gómez A.;5316366 said:Hey guys, I'm so glad that my video helps to realize the awesomeness of the T-40. The tone settings that I enjoy the most (What you hear in the video) are as follows:
Pickup selector: Center (Both pickups on).
Phase switch: In.
Neck PU volume: 10.
Bridge PU volume: 10.
Neck PU tone: 10 (Single coil mode).
Bridge PU tone: 7 (Humbucker mode).
Strings are the ones that came with the bass (Roundwounds - Look like La Bella Hard Rockin' Steels). Plugged directly into my sound card's aux input (Didn't use my amp for this recording).
Thank you for your kindness! Let me know if you need further info. The T-40 rules!![]()

Come on, Lads - buck up! Women carry 25+ lbs of baby in front of them for five or six months of their pregnancies. You can't hoist 13lbs of bass for two or three hours?
Ever ask a woman in her ninth month how happy she is about that?

hi,
I am a new user of T40 (this is the coolest stuff I have ever had) and new here. Do you have any idea of replacing T40 with different pickups (of course same RAIL shape) - I think that one of mine is spoiled. what can original can be replaced with? any ideas?
jacek (from Poland)
It's more likely that the switch is broken. Try replacing that first.
