- MTD basses endorsed artist Bartolini pickups emerging artist TECAMP bass players gear endorsed
It's been a learning curve over the 30+ years of my playing & gigging
I learned that I like tone
I learned I did not like a P bass (rather quickly too)
I learned that Fender wasn't the king of basses
I learned that fresh strings sound good
I learned that I really don't like pointy basses anymore
I learned that I have been able to get all the gigs I want for the past few decades, so I must be doing something right.
I learned that a nice chrome ashtray can look pretty cool on a bass even if it is useless.
