How Long Should I Wait

I was going to ask if mom pays your phone bill, but I won't.

I don't understand it. For, like, close to a century, a prompt phone call was considered the height of courtesy. Now suddenly using a phone is discourteous?????????????????

If you are afraid of interrupting them, then call them to see if they are busy and if they aren't then hang up and then call them.
Don't wait until the weekend. What is going to change between now and then other than they may get another offer? If you are calling between noon and 8:00 at night then it is THEIR option not to answer the phone. I once had a band email me that they wanted me back for a second audition. For some reason it went into my junk mail. If I hadn't been proactive and called them, they would have assumed that I wasn't interested. I've been with them over 2 years now.
As others have said, pick up the %#^$ phone and call ... now!

In all seriousness, I'm 52 and I still have a bit of deep-seated phone phobia that goes back decades. Doing cold calls when I was starting my business helped me get over it. You gotta carpe that diem.
I'd rather be you, calling total strangers to deliver great news, than me, calling family members to "catch up."
But you ARE asking for feedback. It is relevant to know if there is some specific reason that you aren't just picking up the phone and calling.

I'm not going to go into beep psychological BS on Talkbass about my phone issues. Suffice it to say they will be called today.

Ain't just you, brother. Seems like that's the way of the world now. I've had people here say calling someone is discourteous.
That's messed up. I blame the telemarketing industry.
And don't get me started on the demise of the thank-you note. You kids, your ball, my yard, etc.
Why not just text them? If they are busy, they can respond when they are not busy.
I can understand not wanting to call people. I like emailing or texting, especially when you are not close with someone. It gives you time to think about your response. If I'm going to talk to someone, I like to be looking at them.
Having this kind of issues at 23 doesn't seem as bad anymore. Thanks
Hey, I hate phone callin' too - in fact my main number that I give out is just voicemail that forwards to my email, and text on my real phones . But I'd call them tonight at 7 myself.

I have a similar issue to the OP with phone calls. I look at it this way, you are calling with good news. If they act annoyed, its on them. Force yourself to do it and be courteous. Many phone calls end up more positive than you might think. Also, you are always interrupting someone when you call; you are interrupting their life. Keep your agenda in mind and don't get too flustered.
OP, are you married? I'm 54 also, and I have my wife make all my phone calls because I hate the phone so much. 
On the other hand, texting and emailing has a tendency to have the recipient misunderstand responses. If you call them, start the conversation by saying who you are and asking if you caught them at a bad time. If they reply "yes", ask when would be good. If they reply "no", you discuss whether or not they are still interested.
