How loud was the Big Bang?

Not to go too far down the literal rabbit hole, there was no matter shortly after the Big Bang, so I'm not sure you could consider it a sound. I'm also not sure what "sound" means on the context of plasma, so really, the first opportunity for literal sound may be recombination around 300,000 years out (I suppose that is what you were mentioning in the original post). So far as pitch goes, it would be affected by cosmic inflation the same way light does (gets lower with time and distance).

Interesting to think about.
 
There are two flavors of the parallel universe thought line. If you follow the multiverse approach, yes you can do that but there is not a shred of evidence to support the multiverse approach except wishful thinking and Schrodingers GedankPhysik. If you follow the multiple quantum states approach,you are not able to observe parallel universes directly although there is speculation that information can be inferred.

Is the multiverse approach you refer to the idea that multiple universes occur whenever a quantum probability occurs (my diction may be wrong there)? If that is the case, they are not parallel universe since they intersect at the diversion point and overlap in the space time earlier than the diversion.

Plasma is matter and didn't exist immediately following the big bang. Just food for thought.

My very limited knowledge is the multiverse and the multiple quantum parallel state model are totally different.

So....you're saying in around 200,000 years, people will be listening to Manowar?

I recall (not from personal experience, but from Neil Degrasse Tyson) the universe was so dense it was opaque for 300,000 years or so. That doesn't mean there wasn't vibration. Physical vibration is all sound is, so the question of "if a tree falls in the forest" is a rather silly one if you don't consider a human cochlea and brain to be the center of the universe. I assume the "Big Bang couldn't be heard for 300,000 years" part is the assumption that since the Universe was so dense, there was no space for sound to move around. On the contrary, space is not necessary to carry vibration, in fact it won't carry any, you need some form of media, ours is air (specifically the molecules contained therein). And air isn't even the best medium, just ask your local whale a few miles away. While you're at it, you might as well ask, but I can guarantee they're going to chuckle at the sophomoric content of Manowar's lyrics.
