There are a dozen threads asking how many basses people here currently have. I am curious to know how many amps people currently have. I am going to allow the inclusion of combos since not everyone needs a dedicated head.
This excludes cabs. That would be another topic for another day.
Current ownership only, please. Not a laundry list of every amp you have ever owned.

Ampeg V4B (75)
Bassman 50 (74)
Gallien Krueger 400RB combo
Ampeg G18 (late 70s) a practice amp but warmed up a bit!

I technically own 4 amps.

Aguilar TH500
Hartke HA3500
Phil Jones Cub 100
Ampeg BA115 (v1)

I put 2-3, because the Ampeg has a blown speaker and the Hartke hasn’t been used in a number of years.

The TH500 covers any gig with either a Bergantino HD210 or HD410 depending on the size of the room.

ampeg vt22, one head one combo (with 2 12" factory installed alter 517 8B's).
two ampeg v4's.
peavey tour 700 head.
acoustic 125 and an acoustic B450 MKII, heads only.
ampeg pf 350, head.
traynor 100 power amp. (I use a tube preamp with this)
kustom studio 4 valve combo w/2 12" Cerwin Vegas.
carvin xs 100 combo w/2 12" ev-sro's
peavey firebass 700.
an early ampeg SVT power amp of which I am going to use the pre-amp from the firebass as a tone shaper.
an old univox that I paid $20 for, it works but the speaker cabinet is spent, the 15" speaker still works though.
and an old (1948) Packard juke box amp that I'm re-doing into a bass amp, the i.d. plate claims 115 watts.
plus a number of old burnt out ones for parts.

that's just heads and combo amps. I have a ton of cabinets featuring Cerwin Vega, Bose, EV-sro's, altecs, jbl and peavey scorpion speakers of all different sizes. that's another story.

Just two right now:

Bergantino B Amp & Bergantino HDN212
Aguilar DB659/DB728 & Aguilar GS410

The Bergantino is my baby and what I use pretty much everywhere. The only time the Aguilar gets any use is when we have a rehearsal and I’m too lazy to drag my Bergantino rig there since it lives in a roadcase and I keep the Aguilar at our rehearsal space.

GK 1001RB2 with GX 4x10 and GK1x15
Mesa Bass 400+ with dual EVTL606 loaded with EVM
MusicMan HD500 with dual MusicMan dual 12" Audiophile cabs
Crest CA-6 amp with BBE BMAX-T with Bergantino HT322
Acoustic B450 combo (got it for about $75 dead from GC in close to LN condition., about $50 to get back to,perfect, lives in vacation house . . . )
Phil Jones Bass Buddy

"Mix and match is fun too . . . the Berg is nice on the 400+, among other things . . . and just about everything is cased or racked, to make transporting easy (read: wheels on most . . .).

I use two—depends on which Berg cabs used. Not enough pics in this thread! ;)

Berg Forte’ HP (Berg HG412)...

Vanderkley Spartan (Berg REF’s)...

Mesa D800
Genzler MG800
Roland Micro Cube
Tech 21 Bass Power Wedge

The Mesa and the Genzler are my gigging amps ...

The bottom two are practice amps.. The Roland I have used with my ABG .. the Tech 21 is a surprisingly loud 60W powers speaker that I use my Zoom with as a preamp.

1. Fender Bassman 300 Pro. 2 Fender Super Bassman 300. 3 Peavey MiniMega. 4 Peavey MiniMax 5 TC electronics BQ-500. 6 Trace Elliot ELF. 7 Ampeg PF-50T. 8 Ampeg SVT (70). 9 Ampeg SVT (74). and 10 Peavey classic 120/120 power amp. Edit: 27 July 2019. Added a Peavey MiniMax V2.

How do you like your BQ500? Concern was expressed by one TBer about the frequency centers on the EQ (80hz, 400hz, 800hz and 10khz). Has the gap between 80 and 400 Hz been an issue?

Thanks,

Joe
