How many amps do you guys own?

Own 3 combos currently and 1 head.
There's a stack at the jam spot which was donated, but it's technically not mine. So I'm just basically the "Michael Knight" to its "KITT," I suppose.

Had a bunch of amps and cabs and sold nearly all of them. Only have 6 or so… well, if I start counting the ones I have left, I’ll probably come up with more than 6, but certainly less than the number of guitar amps I have! Wait, that isn’t helping…

After reading a recent thread about amp life spans and how/why they are replaced, I started wondering how many amps people might have laying around. Could be a lead sled, tube head, combo, PA system, repurposed guitar amp or something else entirely. How many things do you have laying around that can drive a cabinet and you use for playing bass?

Stories and rundowns encouraged!

Mesa Walkabout Scout 1X12...for light/med duty EB gigs, or doubling
Triad 1 cab driven by a Crown Power Base 2 in parallel-mono with a rack of stuff on top...for when I need to be loud

right now I have a custom rack system, a powered FR that I run an fx floorboard into, a Carvin class-d combo, a Carvin class-d head, a Traynor class-d head, a couple of Hartke class-d heads, a tiny vintage tube combo... i think thats all. Planning to add a Traynor yba100 tube head and a Mesa TT-800 class-d head to round things out!

I have two Mark Bass Little Mark 2's, which I rotate per gig. I mainly do this so I know what i'm getting if one dies, I have the same amp ready to go immediately.

4 different amps for different uses - all combos:

• Fender Rumble 500 w/210 extension cab. Main rig for gigs.
• Fender Rumble Studio 40. Main practice amp.
• Fender Rumble 40. Spare practice amp I keep at the office.
• Fender Rumble 15. Spare practice amp I keep at our drummer's house for songwriting sessions etc.

I haven't counted my Blackstar Fly Bass, my Vox mini bass amp, or my Phil Jones Bighead headphone amp. So maybe I actually have 7.

My answer is technically 4, but I put 3.

1. Bergantino Forté - my main amp at the moment. It replaced my Aguilar TH500 which I had for about 6 years as my only gigging amp.

It currently drives a Berg HD410, but I’m looking at buying a newer Berg 210, which would suit my needs better. Most gigs I play that are big enough for the HD410 have backline supplied.

2. Fender Rumble 500 v3 combo - A good grab and go amp for some of the work I do. It sounds good, is light and compact.

It has been a great workhorse, but I’m selling to fund a new Berg cab, as mentioned above.

3. Hartke HA3500 - my first ‘real’ amp that I bought brand new in ‘06 and paired it with an SWR 410 It was a crazy loud rig!

I gigged it exclusively from ‘06 to around ‘13 when I bought an Aguilar AG700 and the Berg HD410 after the SWR blew up.

The Hartke still works fine, but resides in storage at my folks. Technically, it is the backup to my Forté. I’ve thought about buying a Hartke cab to pair with it and bring it back out on the road!

4. ‘65 Fender Bassman - I didn’t count this as a bass amp, (although it would be great in the studio) as I’ve only ever used it for guitar. I have a dream of firing it up at a gig, but I think I’d be disappointed. Still a very cool amp that’s not going anywhere.

When I first started getting asked to fill in on bass I used a single Peavey PA speaker, when I joined my last band I started out just running through their PA. Finally bought a combo, GK MB115, then a second one to leave at the drummer's house, used em both for outdoor gigs. Finally bought a Yorkville Bassmaster 800 and a Genz 410. Still have all 3, and not in a band at the moment.

I'll add that I also have a Spark guitar practice amp, surprisingly good for bass.

Interesting about amp life spans. I've never had an amp head die. Blown fuses, pots and jacks needing cleaning and tubes changing, sure. Have blown speaks on cabs though. Anyway current amps:
