Eleven, all tube. But this includes a couple of guitar amp heads that I sometimes use for recording bass. Modern guitar amps are usually not great for bass but many 60s/70s guitar amps can be amazing (with a bass cab). Lots of amps from that era were really more like "all purpose" amps. I've got an old Supro guitar head that delivers one of the best dirty, overdriven bass sounds I've ever heard (and also the noisiest tremolo and most laughably poor spring reverb I've ever heard).

absolutely correct on that score. I pick up non working valve pa amps on EBay then restore them great for bass and guitar. I have picked up point to point hand wired amps for next to nothing. They are the unsung heroes of the valve amp world!

How many amps do you own and what types are they (Tube, Solid-state, Class D...)?

A Class D (Mesa WD-800), and a AB stereo power amp (Eden WT-1250). I use it with use the Eden Navigator WT-100 which is has a pre-amp tube. so I'm not sure I can call that rig a hybrid or not. I also have a Wireless monitor system that has it's own amp.

If you are gigging, then two seems like a pretty good idea.
Right now I own three amps --- Two Streamliner 900s, and a new to me rack set up with a pre/power amp.
I've owned a lot of amps over the years, but have always bought and sold, so I never had that many at a time.

So, this thread helped me realized that the real answer is… too much (7 for bass and 3 for guitars)!
