Number 7!
Ibanez Roadbass 808 RB808LE from 1987 in an apparently rare colour that was not listed in the catalog for this bass!

5, 19?? Washburn MB-4
6, Still on the lookout! :D

Nice! I've got a '78 I scored a few years back same deal. I don't play it all that much but when I do it's really a joy.

Sweet Mikey !! Mine's in natural finish , but they look exactly the same at quick glance !! I'm the same way . I only play it at home , & on special occasions . Would never trust taking it to a gig !!
So somebody forgot about yours too , 40 yrs ago ?? It's great finding these guitars that people buy , play for a short time , then put away in the closet or under the bed , & forget about them !! Damn , mine even came with the original hang tag manual!
You have a beauty of a bass there my friend . Enjoy !! ✌️

I got mine from someone on ebay. It apparently belonged to a doctor who played it only occasionally in a jazz band back in the day, then it sat under the bed for years undisturbed. That's the story I got anyway. I guess whether it's true or not isn't important. I just know I got a bass I want for a decent price. I did actually "gig" it once but just a short 3 song set.

There's a great online seller ( eBay, Instagram) just to name two . His handle is CWH1 I believe , out of San Diego . I've bought from him , & did my homework prior . I've seen him mentioned on other blogs from a few years back , & read nothing but good remarks . Example , on Ebay he's had approximately 3,500 + sales , & he's still at 100% Positive feedback. Plus he has a 14 day return policy. . He's got some real sweet guitars & basses !! I believe his name is Chris . I'm pretty sure some of you heard of him

My lefty basses at the moment:

- Rickenbacker 4003
- Sandberg California JJ
- Fender P Bass USA
- Musicman Stingray
- Ibanez Blazer
- Westone Thunder I
- Squier P Bass Korea
- Squier VM Jazz Bass
- Washburn Stage Series B5 (Nothing special, but the only lefty i have ever seen)
- Bach NR Thunderbird
- Hofner Ignition Violin bass

Music Man Stingray 5
Steinberger XQ 5
Carvin SB5000
Yamaha BB3000
Fender Jazz fretless

I own 1 really good one and a good pre-pedal. If I played more often I could possibly see adding a fretless and maybe...no, just two.
Besides curiosity (and being single) I don't see why folks would need multiple basses.
Okay, maybe a cool vintage bass, but that's it.

Welp, I'm up a bass.

I swear I didn't want this to happen. I had made a 2x1 trade to get down to 3 a few weeks ago.

But a retailer closing and clearing and a defective volume pot rendering a bass useless, except it wasn't, made me go up to 5.
NBD topic to come.

So my list is as follows, from oldest in my possession to newest.
Epi Rock Bass
Ibanez TMB 100
Ibanez SR 905CNF (Defretted)*
LTD B206SM*
Yamaha BB425*

*Will be featured in my NBsWs (New Basses Weeks) topic as soon as I get the pictures, that I actually would've taken anyway for security and such, so why not showing them.

So the question is, selling or trading my Epi to get a better 4 stringer, getting a used 4, or getting a used 6er.

Freaking G.A.S.
