After a bit of a hiatus playing other instruments and having a job that kept me far too busy, I have finally returned to recording and playing out at least 3 times a week.
I have been using a Sadowsky NYC 24-5 P/J as my main bass since 2006. I've also had my upright since 1998. I used to have up to ten basses and ten guitars plus drums and other things but pared way down when I moved to NYC, as one does. While in NY I sold everything off expect for my upright and the Sadowsky.
I started getting back into it by doing some recording with friends here and remotely across the country as well as some local studios. I wanted a nice tone bed to start with so I got a Fender Precision and Jazz again. Then this week I am impatiently awaiting the arrival of a custom Fodera Imperial Elite MG 5 from Bass San Diego. Now I have six including the upright. Interesting after having only one electric for over ten years!
