    I have three...an Ibanez EX series with PJ configuration, a MIM Fender Jazz and a MIA Fender Ltd Edition PJ. I've been putting money away to buy a new/different style of bass. Tried a few but nothing clicked. Three is enough.

  6. I replied a while back that I have 3...now it's 4. Fender Am/pro Precision 4 string, Fender Am/pro jazz V(5 string), Lakland 55-94 deluxe 5 string...and just added....US made Peavey Cirrus 6 string(avatar pic)

    I just sold a bass, so I changed my vote to reflect my new total of four: upright, fretless, fretted (all four-string, standard tuning), and (thanks to some new strings I just bought) a tenor bass (short-scale 4-string fretted tuned to ADGC).
    I've only bought nine basses since taking up bass in '87, and I may never hit double-digits, since I'm quite happy with my current collection.
