I just sold a bass, so I changed my vote to reflect my new total of four: upright, fretless, fretted (all four-string, standard tuning), and (thanks to some new strings I just bought) a tenor bass (short-scale 4-string fretted tuned to ADGC).
I've only bought nine basses since taking up bass in '87, and I may never hit double-digits, since I'm quite happy with my current collection.
