For those in the 6 or more bass group, how many of those get more than 50% of your playing time? Do most get rarely played or is the love spread around? For me, 1/3 of my basses get more than 2/3 of the usage. Makes me think about thinning the herd -- until I grab the outliers and enjoy their qualities again.

Of my 9+ basses, the p bass gets the most usage by far. Early 50's single coil p bass next. Fretless with jazz bass pickup I just keep for the occasional need for that tonality. OM hollow body is used almost never. All are made by me and are 30.5" scale with Chrome Flats. The two I use the most are 5lbs 9oz and 5lbs 14oz due to chambering. No F holes. Assymetrical V-shaped neck. All are neck-thru. I will be posting some on the classifieds soon. I seriously need to thin the herd. My bass rig is tech21 VTBASS and QSC power amp. No pedals. No reverb. Just clean motown funk.
