I have 9 basses, all built by myself, with 2 more in construction. Both 30.5" scale length. One will have a Seymour Duncan Ricky pickup for that Ricky tone. Both will have a sapele/maple thru-neck with Florida cypress chambered wings, Gotoh tuners and bridge. Second one will have a Fender vintage '62 p bass pickup. Target weight for these 2 will be 5 pounds and 9 ounces each. My back says, "Thanks, Gary".

Just a funny little story about my bass army. So I've been bombarding my tech with basses. I dropped off 7 this past thursday. He works out of his house and has his shop in his attic. It's a tight space. He was telling me that he has to put some of my basses in his bedroom XD. I told him "Just don't make eye contact with em".

I'm back to my old number. Down to two. As much as it was cool having 4 basses, I realized I used 2 of them 95% of the time, and the other two were sitting in the case most of the time.

I just left my ol' workhorses that I gig with. Maybe sometime in the future, I'll add something else to the stable as well, but right now, I'm cool with my minimalist "keep only what you need".
