How many basses do you own? (Currently) Part 2

There was a time when I kept a small stable. Then I found "the one" and it was my only for about the last 18 years or so. This year during the lock down I finally got a back up. Stay away from the classifieds and don't watch any of Dr. Cheese videos. You might be safe... for a while.Just wondering if I'm the only dude with 1 bass.
My brother was a gigging bassist with one bass for many years. And he now only has 2, one of which he got from me, lol.
Most I’ve had is 6. I’ve been through about 30-40 buying/selling in the last few years. Currently working my way down to two and couldn’t be happier.
it happens, the search can be frustrating at times.
I got over 2 dozen that just sit after getting 'the one', my Epi Thunderbird IV with flats.
kinda leery of $pending for flats on them all which was the plan, but should just to know.
Down to six. May get the membership and unload some through the classifieds as six is ridiculous. It was ridiculous even when I was gigging. Now I am not gigging. I could easily see going down to three or four. Everything I own is fretless so getting rid of them is going to take some time.
I had a Geddy Lee Steinberger (joke, it’s fretless) as my only bass for twenty five years and it was my gigging bass. I frankly regret having bought others, but I’d have regretted it more if someone had made off with my Steinberger at a $50 bar gig, as an L2UF shows up about every ten years or so and they’re approaching five figures.
my point and I did have one: it’s fine to have only one bass so long as you can replace it if needed.

Without counting, I have somewhere in the low 20's. Do they all get played often, no; do I want to sell any of them, again no. I try not to buy two of the same model/style. The only thing stopping additional purchases is lack of room for storage. GAS is truly addictive, and I vow after each new bass I buy that it will be the last. That vow holds strong until the next bargain seeks me out.

Nothing wrong with reposting a topic, either, unless it's "Pick or fingers?" or "Why buy a relic'd bass?" etc.
Bwahahaha.... you may as well give in now and get it over with. If your significant other says anything just say "but, but... the doctor made me do it." That's what I've been doing during lock down.
