How many basses do you own? (Currently) Part 2

3 but soon to be just 2. P bass, pj and a 5 string jazz. Going to just a pj and jazz. If a bass is good I usually just stick with it for everything and I never really needed a 5. It is possible I pick up a beater Squier to leave out in the living room because my basses are always cased.

There is no selection in the poll for me.. ZERO basses-- for now. I'm spying a few at the moment but have not pulled the trigger. This is due to my budget. Not a lot of $600 choices out there.

Update:

I own 2. My main (modded LTD) and my backup (a stealth black Schecter). Both 4-strings. 'Tis all I need. Sure I have "want" GAS that changes daily, but my bass needs are met.

You are correct. There are a lot out there in that price range, new. I know of just about everything available at the major big boxes, plus the usual bass specialty stores, but I am finicky.

For instance, the Sire M.2, Yamaha TRBX605, Spector Legend (current Legend models are not on my want list), Ibanez SR Standard to name a few from the "new" list.

Am Vintage II has the widest neck ever but i love it. Am Pro II is a nice bass too. It just feels more "ordinary". If you're planning of buying either one my money goes to AM Vintage II 100-0.

I have the AmProII in Miami Blue! It's my main gigging bass. But I got a couple of artist codes burning a hole in my pocket.
