Currently voting two basses

Thought a P for flats (Fralin) and a P for rounds (MFD) would work nicely for me ..... but now thinking that the one with rounds needs to be two: one for nickel-plated rounds (MFD), one for steel rounds (Dimarzio)

This is how the road to having a dozen basses starts, isn't it?

A month later, and that thought is turning into reality: a third P is one its way. Chromes + Lindy Fralin. Roto Bass + MFD. Pro Steels + Model P.

I'm back to 4 basses again. I needed a cheap beater that I could tune to C standard and I ended up with another Epiphone Les Paul Special bass which is surprising after the horrid balancing issues with the last one turned me off from these basses. This one balances just fine on a dinky 2" guitar strap so once I swap the stock strap buttons for S-style ones it'll be perfect with my 3" neoprene strap.

If any one remembers I had to bring my singers bass back to life that time . Anyway after I brought it back to life I got to play it at a show and fell in love with it and even though the words crossed my lips, (no more basses) it showed up in my in box and you know the rest 31 was too odd of a number anyway right?
