This?I left my basses in the hobby room for almost 24 years. Finally pulled them all out and sent to a shop to check the circuit, clean and set up. What I got are:
Status Graphite Empathy 4 (circa 1998)
Tobias Growler 4 (circa 1998)
Fender MIJ Jazz Bass ‘62 Fretless (2002)
Fender Jazz Bass (1978)
Looks like am gonna add an Ibanez ATK 1200 Prestige soon.
Yes, it’s the 1200 Prestige. Here’s a pic of it at the workshop. This?

Sweet!
Can’t wait to see it when it arrives!
@Riff Ranger might want to check it out too, though he’d probably prefer it in black.
The black chooses meThis?

Always aim for more!I think the last time I posted here I was at 11 or 12…maybe more. I’m doing well, I’m down to 8 and planning to sell 2 in the near future, and the money will go towards another bass. So the aim is 7 by the end of the year![]()

Yeah, I’m holding at 5. There’s one year-model I’ll buy if one shows up at the right price point, but otherwise I’m good. I’m seriously considering getting rid of one now because it never gets played. What a waste.Still have 4. I want a zillion. But really, I shouldn't... not because it wouldn't be cool, but because beyond what I have, its not adding any capability that I need, and just tying up my limited resources for no personal gain. I could see picking up a small number more at some point. I miss my old 75 Jazz bass. So, maybe that... If Squier came out with a Mini-J, I'd buy that for sure. But otherwise, I'm good for now.
Classic! My fav stingrayI ended up selling my Sterling Ray4, replacing it with a USA StingRay Classic. I'm looking to get rid of the fretless Frankenstein Jazz, which will get me down to four. They are:
1. Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay Classic
2. Fender Standard Series Jazz
3. Guild Newark St. Starfire II
4. SX P Bass copy w/ upgrades
I'm actually considering thinning it down to three-- putting either an actual Fender Precision or a Rickenbacker in place of the Jazz and SX P copy.I ended up selling my Sterling Ray4, replacing it with a USA StingRay Classic.
