Fauxdera?A couple of weeks ago it was one and now after leaving the band I have four . Now I have a Dingwall Combustion , Squier CV JB and PB and to top it off a Faux Fodera Yin Yang that I upgraded the "guts" and painted Gold . Trying not to buy #5 .............![]()

Okay so Fauxdera, then.replica think it's china made .
Yep! Now you need to start thinking about adding a J bass or 2...Currently voting two basses
Thought a P for flats (Fralin) and a P for rounds (MFD) would work nicely for me ..... but now thinking that the one with rounds needs to be two: one for nickel-plated rounds (MFD), one for steel rounds (Dimarzio)
This is how the road to having a dozen basses starts, isn't it?![]()
Correct! I love having at least these 4 options! The truth is I could get down to these 4 and still be set.Yep! Now you need to start thinking about adding a J bass or 2...

Another update. Traded away the Acynonix for an Atelier Z and bought a Rickenbacker.I've added two more since this post. Here's my updated list!
- 1990's Roscoe LG-3005 (my number 1 that will be buried with me)
- 1974 Hagstrom HII BN (my first vintage and first short scale bass)
- 1979 Ibanez Studio ST-925 (heavy as a house, but amazing tone)
- 1960s Kent 822 Hollowbody (bought from Jake Serek on a deal, fun change of pace)
- Dingwall 1st Gen Combustion 5 (for when I'm feeling metal)
- Nodrstrand Acinonyx Cat Bass (still haven't fully bonded with this one yet)
- Bordwell Dola 5 (got on trade to check out, really enjoy it so far)
- Supro Huntington II (killer short scale that I love gigging with)
- Yamaha BB1025x (was looking for a BB for the sound, but fell in love with this version with the metal control plate)
- Epiphone Embassy (kept as a cheap beater bass to have as a o, but the neck is a bit chunky for my taste)
- Modded SX Jazz 5 (heavily modded and partially functional, haha)
- 1987 EBMM Sabre
- 1967 Gibson EB-2 (previous owner reshaped headstock)
- Fidelity Guitars Custom Stellarosa (a tribute to my grandparents)
- Squier Rascal
That is a gorgeous arsenal! Welcome back! After deserting my basses for almost 24 years, got them all checked and cleaned up. The 78 Jazz was just restored with new Bourbon Burst finish and parts from Fender.
