Economic woes are forcing me to sell my MIM P bass, so I will be down to an old 70s MIJ P copy.

I do have an old headstock SX P bass as well, but it suffered some damage in a flood and is currently disassembled. I have a few spare parts around and am going to try to fix it up.

So, I guess I have one and a half basses.

5-6

Sire Ash/Maple V7 5
Sire Rosewood/Alder V7 5
Fender Marcus Miller 5 with Warmoth 70's position body and Fralin rewound pups
Fender US Geddy Lee with EMG J pups
Prat Classic 6 (build phase)
Music Man Sting Ray Stealth Black single pickup 4 (maybe trading or selling next week)

The last time that I took a full family photo of my basses there were three. I took a picture of my first 60th Anniversary P, an American Standard Jazz that I had for a while and my 72 Tele bass that I have. I had just stained my deck and the photo came out great.

I just re-stained my deck, the weather is nice and I thought that it would be a good time to take another family photo of my basses in the same spot. Now they number eleven, this is a bit more complicated. I have five good stands, two cheap stands and I put a couple of rolled up furniture pads down to sit the others on.

I wiped down all of my basses down and now I'm waiting for the sun to be overhead so that there are not any weird shadows.

As I'm doing the prep work my wife said "Just how many basses does my drummer husband have now?"

Um... Eleven?! Her mouth dropped open and she is enjoying teasing me. I've been true to my rule that something leaves before something comes in so she is good with it.

Anyway, I'll take the photos and post them on the family photo thread in a bit.
