I just changed out some components on one of my Jazz's and my white P bass:

On deck is one of those Sire basses. They sound awesome in all the videos I've seen and I've read nothing but good things about them.

I currently have:

-Squier Affinity P-bass (my first bass!)
-Fender Jazz Bass Blacktop series (in love with the sound of this beast)
-Fender Modern Player Dimension Bass (the most comfortable bass I've ever used).

I'm quite happy with all of them. My next bass(es) would be

-Hagstrom Viking bass. I'm in love with this bass. If I can't find one, I also like the Ibanez AGB series (I tried one and I love it. I didn't buy it and I regret it) or an Epiphone Jack Casidy.
-Fender Standard Jazz bass. Simple as that haha
-Gibson Ripper. I'd love these basses but I can't find one
