1 fretted 4. 1 fretless 4, and a cheap first act i got off CL.
looking for a decent fretted 4 ABG at a ridiculously low (free would rock) price.

Exactly my situation and number. I have two more project basses as well, plus another one that I'm buying from a TBer. I need to list a few for sale or possible trade. I just gave another bass away to another one of my sons band buddies. Nothing special but a good, very functional and nice playing Electra.

I have enough bodies and necks lying around to make another 3 or 4 basses. I've been building project basses from parts I've had laying around and selling them to my friends.

I have an old family shot but its out of date. Whats that bass in the right bottom corner? It looks like a bass I had called a Zimgar (which was probably a Teisco) It was one of my favorite basses I've ever owned but it fell apart on me.

Only two for me at the moment: a Carvin BB75 and a Hamer Cruise, though I'm GASing for a T-40.

Its interesting that we have a bimodal distribution that peaks at three and ten or more. I suppose that means we have a group of people with their GAS sort of under control, and others with a terminal case.

A cheap Carlo Robelli six string -- just to dick around on a 6 string, but it's actually pretty nice.

Plus an upright. Plus an electric and acoustic guitar. (Acoustic bass guitars do nothing for me).

I had a Steinberger, because it's a unique instrument but it was just too ******** so I got rid of it.

I do wish I had my 1985 Ibanez. I sold it when I "upgraded" but that was a pretty awesome bass.

Three, though one's sorta "retired." The other two are one electric and an upright, so those aren't really redundant. I prefer as few basses as possible, and to play the hell out of the ones I have.
