This should not be your goal especially that you are starting to learn the instrument and music. developing speed can always be achieved, it is literally labor work that you can put at anytime (it is not necessarily a fundamental)

OP -- have fun, build speed. I think you'll find that you can do 100bpm+ 16th notes with steady practice. Muscle memory is an amazing thing. And tbh, the notes you *don't* play are just as important as the ones you do. EDIT: length of notes, space between notes, and overall timing are important....that's what I meant.
