How many effects in Parallel on Boss ES-8 switcher?

Hi All,

Im aware that the Boss ES-8 can have 2 seperate parallel loops, what I cannot seem to find clear info on is how many effects can be put into a loop....

For example, could I run 4 effects in series within one loop, then the other 4 effects also in series in another loop simultaneously? Akin to what is possible with the Line 6 Helix or Pod HD500.

Building on this I am also wondering if it would be possible to select a different input for each of the loop (as is also possible with the Line6 stuff)

You can use as many effects in a loop as you like or patch in 1 per input and use the internal mixer to select where, how many and whether you want series or parallel operation.
I would hook up the 8 effects you have as shown in the manual and program the routing within the Boss.
