How many gigs did YOU play last year?

After hitting a vein of luck and finding a drummer that fit us, my band Chaos Bloom finally got out to see the light of day around the end of November. We've since played three shows through the end of the year. The guitar player and I had been sitting on 6 or 7 songs for about a year trying to find our third man to complete the lineup. Stoked to finally be getting this stuff out into folks' ears! We're taking a couple months off of shows now to try and write/record some new material, but we hope we can get out there and make some more noise in March or so.

I totaled 15 gigs in 2019. It was a normal year for me. Quiet in the first quarter, then one or two a month. A mix of bars and marketplace venues with a couple of county fair dates.

In terms of quantity and quality I think @BassCliff will put us all to shame. ;)
Only 8 for me in 2019 (2018 was our busiest with 10.) Seven member band with all 6 of my bandmates in multiple groups, so finding available dates is always a challenge. Hopefully, 2020 will be better!

Agreed, Grant - Cliff seemed to have a banner year, and played more gigs in a 2 week span than I played all year. It will be interesting to find out what his final tally turns out to be. :bassist::bassist::bassist:
