Also, the industry correct term is, Lamp not lightbulb.
Lastly, a "lamp" base has to be disassembled to reveal a production stamp to verify exact age.

The type of glass In a light bulb has little to no effect on the quality of the light. It's more the electronics and how you turn it on.
