How much does your bass weigh?

My heaviest is my 78 P-Bass clocking in at 11.2 pounds. I think my Geddy Lee comes in
at a hair over 9. I haven't weighed my MIM fretless J, but it feels nice on the strap for a
Fender bass compared to most.

I'm gonna guess that my Squier Affinity Jazz V weighs about that. It feels really nice but it's definitley a change from my previous bass; an Ibanez GSR200.

How much did your Ibanez weigh? I have one right now an i was wondering, its my very first bass and i love it

It's all just maple, body, neck, fretboard. alot of previous posts have heavier bass's. Did surprise me for a Squier, though

Edit- just checked your spreadsheet, the vm jazzes on there are 10 and 10.6

Silly question, I know. My bass, for reasons I don't fully understand, seems to be the heaviest bass in Chicago. Seriously. EVERY other bass I have picked up weighs less than mine. Granted, I play a sixer, but every sixer I have picked up is no different. They all seem to weigh less.

My bass, Schecter Stiletto Sudio 6=12 Lbs. (Rounded down)

So I ask the silly question: How much does your axe weigh?

From one 6er player to another: 6ers are simply going to be heavier. Stuff like headless and composites help, though.

My Sonus 6: 10.9 lb
My Vinny 6: 9.9 lb

its impolite to inquire about a lady's weight, so i'll just say this. My Greg Bennett 6'er is "pleasantly plump", and my Fury 5'er is "thick in all the right places".

I dont know exactly, but my matt freeman P is very light, i can lift it with two fingers and balance it

I have read 11-15 pounds of tonnage on a T40...I know mine sure feels more then 11 pounds. I have also noticed there seems to be some inconsistency with the weight of a T40. Now the solid colored ones are lighter as they used a different wood but the natural and burst ones are all northern ash yet some people weigh them and it reads 11 pounds and others weight them and they come in at 13 pounds....the max Ive ever read was 15 lbs for a T40..the lightest was 11 pounds... my '85 burst sure don't feel like no 11 lbs though I can tell you that LOL

My natural/ash T-40 weighs 9.8 pounds -- it's the lightest one I've ever played.
