Yeah, I'm a very direct person who doesn't mince words much - I have no problem calling BS when I see it...

I been sound enginee for 15 pluse years working with professional bands like Marron 5 ect. Not really sure what he meant by roof out your line new on me ..... Naver roof out your line ... How you set gain is most mixer have a green light or red or degial read outs dont let the single red line stay in the green or yellow this sound man is wrong .. Also what will help you a lot with the single strength is turn your amps to half way and your mixer mains half way then get your single on your gain then use your faders controle to controle each channles also I see what goes wrong seomtimes is some bands keep abjusting thir mains on the mixer once thir set to half way leave them alone and use the fader controle to contole volume notsure what kinda power your pushing so can make a difference
I disagree... I think. It's hard to decipher what you are trying to get across sometimes. Make that most of the time. Anyway, why would you run your power amps at half mast? I and everyone else I know in the biz run them up full.I been sound enginee for 15 pluse years working with professional bands like Marron 5 ect. JimmyM , is it you ?

......I normaly run the amps half way set the mains on the mixer half way this way you do not have to push gain on each channel to get volume if you push your gains you can get more feedback makes the microphnes more sentive also if you run amps and mains half way your not pushing your amps for more volume which can over heat set the mains on the mixer half way and get a green light on your gain and push the sliders on each channel for more volume ..
