I started calculating the prices of what I have on my current pedalboard, and stopped after $2k. I'll just enjoy what I'm currently using... I'm not going to ruin the experience by knowing the total... 🫣 💀

Strobostomp $148
Cali76 $379
Bass Microsynth $324 (Paid $285)
Subsonic $195
Dr Scientist boost/buffer $99
HX Stomp $699 (Paid $550)
DCX Bass $319 (Paid $245)
JHS Kilt $199 (Paid $124)
Micro thumpinator $180
KHAN VTDI $599
Dunlop Volume (X) 8 pedal $139 (Paid $129)
Pedalnetics Duo Mini Pro $59
Pedalnetics Mini Remote $45 (not in pic)
CIOKS DC7 + 8 $374
Pedaltrain Classic Jr. $137
SP400 square connectors + cables ~$100

It's still cheaper than my gaming rig builds and photography equipment... which I don't want to calculate either... and if I add all the additional equipment in my office/music room.... 😭

Lots of money in custom length patch cables is sitting in a box in my closet.

Soldering patch cables is all I'll do now... custom lengths actually reduces the weight of the pedalboard... and looks a lot cleaner.

Never had a patch cable go bad on me... but it would be easier to troubleshoot or fix than a pre-made patch cables. I still have one more patch cable to make on my current board, but my local store ran out of sp400 square connectors... :(

Too much. I started adding my bigger board up and was over $500 before I even added a pedal (Temple Audio Duo 17, AC mod, side I/O panel with custom cables, Cioks DC7 and all the patch cables). Then I stopped tabulating.

I have gone through multiple revisions of pedals and boards since I waded in to effects 8 years or so ago. Some of the pedals were quite hard to get at the time, but even though they are more available now the are still pricey. Definitely slowed down buying in the last year+.
Same here, and I've yet to find what I'm looking for, despite some that seem perfect on paper to suit, like the S1, which I know you have 2, maybe more

So, what's kind of scary to me is that all this has been acquired within the past year and everything previous to this (for the past 30 years) has just been a bass, tuner, amp setup. I think I went though a tiny mid-life crisis spending spree or maybe I was bitten by the effects bug... or maybe a little of both?:help:

Peterson StroboStomp Mini - $119
Line 6 HX Stomp - $600
Origin Effects Cali76 Bass - $379
Origin Effects DCX Bass - $319
Sushi Box FX Neptunium - $350
Cioks SOL - $158
PedalTrain Nano+ - $80
Ernie Ball Flat Ribbon Patch Cables - $26

TOTAL - $2031

I have two boards…
Did a mental calculation for about 2,250 on my main board of what I think I paid
Board and cables - 300
Mini tuner - 100
B3k clone 100
Kangra fuzz filter 250
Mbd1 250
CMC fuzz 150
Jc fuzz wah 500
Afterneath 300
Ceb3 200

Second board
Board and cables 300
Tuner 100
Boss ps3 250
Black secret 50
Marcha muff 100
Tc dreamscapes 200
Flowers lupine octave up 200 (of I can find one now they’re discontinued)
Walrus slo 250
Rowin flanger 50
Dunlop bass wah 150

Not as bad cos it’s meant to be my “cheap home board” I’m using as my one man ban project but also not discounting the 10 or so other pedals I have laying around…

At one point I was the joke of had 2k amps, 4 k in two basses plus 2k pedalboard in a cheap car doing a gig for 25$ (by the time it got split four ways after the 100$ 25 min gig) - local metal bands you don’t do it for the money I tell ya ;)

Curious what you like and don’t like. That’s probably THE board TB group think would create. lol.

Looks like you are doing it right!

How much would it cost to replace everything if it went kaput.
Oh, gosh...you were serious about this. I'm going w/ secondhand pricing when possible:

*Line 6 G50 Wireless $150
*Broughton HPF $70
*SD DoubleBack Comp $100
*Peterson StroboStomp 2 $60
*Digitech Chorus $70
*Sonicake Factory $70
*MXR DC Brick $50

$570 which would put me on-track to a nice multi-FX. Side note: asking prices for used gear are all over the map!
