How much TV do you watch and what?

Almost no TV time in the past 3 or 4 years and ironically we bought 4 TVs within a week about 4 years ago for our rentals which we are renting on short term basis. Full time job, rentals plus 8 to 10 gigs a month leaves little time for tv. We have a condo in Orlando we go to for a day or two about every 5 weeks and watch a little there with rabbit ears antenna.

Barely any. Occasionally I'll watch something on Netflix, and watch about a movie a week on the weekends. In fact I have one TV and it doesnt even have cable! I just use it as a giant monitor for my computer when recording and whatnot. Oh and I'm 23, so hows that for going against the grain?:roflmao:

If left to my own devices. I would never watch. But for some reason, my wife really wants me to watch a show with her every day, so we always watch one episode of a show off DVR or Netflix before bed. I let her pick.

Very few hrs a week maybe a cpl.If I did watch it would be Supernatural,NCIS,Ancient Aliens or HGTV when the wifes comes home on the weekend.I've got well over a thousand movies and nice Klipsch Yamaha home theater system I could watch and don't unless the wife's home.Could careless for broadcast content anymore.
Either on TB or practicing my bass or recording it.Cruz the net looking for anything that peaks my fancy that I want to look up like the Biefeld–Brown effect.

I don’t really watch TV. I’ll watch the occasional movie on DVD. Or on Netflix, Acorn, or Amazon Prime. But I’m more a listener than a watcher. There’s a few podcasts that do one or two episodes per month I semi follow.

What I really am is a reader. As is my SO. I’ve usually got three or four books going at a time. And I’ll finish one or two books per week.

There is a ridiculously large number of books in our house right now. Many of them are destined to become donations for our local library association’s next annual book sale. Which is a good thing since we just got a smaller and easier to maintain house and no longer have as much room for “stuff” as we used to.

I find myself increasingly impatient with TV, lots of options, most of them bad. I’ll binge on a Netflix series if it really hooks me. Watching Elon Musks “Mars” series in dribs and drabs. I use it as background while I run my daily scales and picking excercises, then turn it off to actuall practice a few songs. TV works out to maybe 1.5 hours/day.

I do music for "American Pickers", "The Deed" and a couple of other shows so I watch those. I also watch "Dan Rather The Big Interview", "Counting Cars", "Survivor", "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy". I also watch some the older shows such as "Hogan's Heroes", "WKRP in Cincinnati", "The Mod Squad", "That 70s Show". I sometimes watch some of the shows on HGTV.

A few TV. One or two evening a week i sit with my lady to stream a movie or series. At this time we are looking at last walking dead season. Tv is "on" when we eat at evening, generally on news channels, or other talkshow. Sometimes specific things like other countries documentaries. Between 5 to 10 hours a week.

If I'm too tired to do "anything" else, I'll plunk down in front of the TV, an hour a day max. Although lately, too often I have caught myself thinking "Damn, I could have been playing bass the last hour instead of watching this junk.".

I work 40+ hrs a wk.
My free time is divided between being online, doing things around the house cooking, spending time with the wife, and "some" TV time.
We usually watch the News, reruns of Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds and the Food Network. Unfortunately, I don't spend nearly enough time practicing....Yet, I'm looking at a buying a Fender Jazz in Lake Placid Blue..Hmmm
