How often do you change your strings?

Roundwounds every two months, I only play at home atm.

Put Elixir Nickel Nanowounds on my MIA P Bass and while I lost a bit of bottom end, after six weeks they still sound as bright as new, they'll last six months easy.

Very rarely. I primarily play fretless at this point and use flats. On my fretted Jazz, on which I use rounds, I also very rarely change strings but that's more a function of hardly ever playing that bass and no longer gigging regularly.

DA xl's just turned 13 mos old on my main player pbass..... they're just now starting to sound good!

Id probably change them every weekend if my wife wouldn't strangle me in my sleep. But yeah once every 4-6 weeks is normal. Really just depends on how many gigs and how often and how long i play. There's been times where i played a gig and sweat like a pig and changed them after even if i just out new strings on.
